I am having exactly the same problem - can't turn off green text with audio
input data appearing on my display.
I tried the solutions suggested by Neil, but they seem to have no effect.
When I right-click on the Windows clock, I get Taskbar and Menu Properties,
but nothing re FFDShow or OSD.
From WMP, I have viewed the FFDShow properties and tried various OSD
settings. I've tried making changes to fonts, locations, color, etc., and
"Apply" the changes, but nothing I do has any effect. So I still have the
shadowed green text running constantly in the upper left corner of my
display. I just want to turn the text off, and still can't figure out how to
do that.
Thanks for any help I can get on this.
