Hi,
when I run the Audio tuning wizard, the speakers and microphone are both
detected as "C-Media Wave device" which will be the on-board sound of my
Asus A7V333 motherboard.
The speaker test works OK.
Moving on to the microphone test and the noise from the mic can be heard
coming through the speakers but the wizard cannot detect any audio from the
mic.
I have the volume of the mic turned right up in the C-Media mixer and Mic
booster enabled.
I have tried the mic on both the front and rear connections with the same
results.
Any ideas whats wrong?

Regards,

Tony.
