audio video setup problems

I recently installed a webcam. It works perfectly on my computer, but when I
try to use it on my Windows Live Messenger 8.1 version) I'm recieving a
message "we are unable to run the audio video setup wizard' . Of course there
isn't a live person to talk to, to try and fix situation, so I'm stuck. Any
ideas? ( I have removed and installed this messenger 4 times, to try and fix
problem, but nothing works. Help!!!

I envy people who can even set their cameras and audio items up. When I click
on audio video setup wizard, it is disabled. I can't help but wonder if there
is some place to enable it. But noone seems to know. And, as far as I can
tell, I'm the only one with this particular problem with my windows live
messenger. I even disabled my firewall, but that didn't fix problem either!
