August 14th Vista updates

I installed the Vista updates published on 8/14. I restarted the computer to
finish the update but my computer will not boot into Windows. Instead, it
lags on a black screen. I have performed several system restores but the
problem ALWAYS returns after I reinstall the updates.

I am running Vista Ultimate (32bit) upgraded from WINXP on an HP dv2037us
laptop with 2 gb of RAM. Anybody else having the same problem?

No issues here with the updates at all. Personally I wish Nvidia would come
out with better drivers, but that is not a MSFT problem.
