To all in this thread..
Looking at it practically, if the updates were seriously flawed, everybody
would have serious problems, but this is just not the case.. this is not to
say that the updates can't cause problems, but the problems created have to
be a progression of a problem that was already present but maybe not
obviously affecting the local system too much..
I have two computers here that accept ALL updates, and always have, so I
must be doing something that you people are not, or vice versa.. I have
clients too that accept all updates without problems..
As to how you overcome your present situations, I would suggest that you all
do a thorough housekeeping of your systems as a start.. blaming MS for
producing 'flawed' updates when they obviously aren't universally flawed at
all is unfair and will get you nowhere.. there are many non Microsoft
applications etc out there that can and do cause problems of all kinds..
One question for you.. do any of you run Norton products?
