August update cuasing SQL 2000 timeout on update queries?

After this nights August update (08/10/20006) my SQL 2000 server running on
Windows 2003 times out on SQL update queries. I am not sure this is the
cause of the Windows Update, but i'm looking into it right now. Does anyone
have the same issue or something alike with their SQL 2000 Server?

I'm suddenly getting the same problem - up until yesterday I never got
a timeout, and this morning now most actions in my database are timing
out.

It's got to be something to do with the MS Update from last night.

I'm running SQL 2000 on Windows 2003 also.
