I apologize in advance for being so vague, but I'm having some issues with my
Toshiba Qosmio X305-701 running Windows Vista Home Premium x64.

When I install August updates, and I use the laptop for a day or two (with
reboots) I lose connectivity to both my wireless (Atheros AR9281) and my LAN
(Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)).

Specifically, both the lan and wireless are "Connected with limited access"
Microsoft says its either a problem with the adapters or with the TCP/IP
Bindings, but I'm using DHCP for everything (nothing custom).

If I do a system restore to a point before the issues but after the updates,
I have the same problem.

If I do a system restore to a point before the issues and before the
updates, I'm good to go.

Is anyone experiencing similar issues?

Thanks!

Eric

Never EVER use System Restore to "undo" updates unless and until you've
uninstalled the update(s) & have rebooted!
