I'm not familiar with Google Desktop, but it seems unlikely. You could try
setting IE to default settings, but you will loose any settings you have
made and it disables any add-ons. About the only things it doesn't change
are proxy settings and favourites. It is weird you would have the same
problem on two computers. I suggest you go to the
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general first, to see if anyone over
there, where there is specific IE7 expertise, can help. Maybe you can
search the newsgroup and see if a similar problem has been reported.
