Authorisation Required

After I install a program and it creates shortcuts in the start menu, when I
want to move that shortcut in another start menu folder (like Games, for
example) I am presented with a window "Authorisation Required". I am the
administrator so this should not happen. After I restart the computer one or
more times I can also move the shortcuts, but this is frustrating. Is there a
way to bypass the restarting of my computer in order to move the newly
created start menu shortcuts?

How are you trying to move them?

Drag & Drop. I also tried by going in the directory they are stored in (can't
give you the path, I'm in the office now and I have XP, Vista is at home) and
the same thing happens.
