Vista Home Premium
I know there is a way to have Vista boot up without having to choose my
identity on boot up every time but I can't find it. I am the only user on
the computer and there is no password with my identity. There is no sense
having me choose myself each time.

Thanks... Bob

The instructions at this link work for both XP and Vista:

Configure Windows to Automatically Login (MVP Ramesh) -

You may be the only USER, but are there other people who might have ACCESS?
Do you keep personal and private information on the machine? If the answer
to both those questions is "yes" then you need to seriously think about the
implication of no password and booting straight into your desktop....

Asking a question?
Please tell us the version of the application you are asking about,
your OS, Service Pack level
and the FULL contents of any error message(s)

Instuctions are: "Click Start, Run and type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2, and
click Ok."

When I click Ok nothing happens.

What a retard. You are very tightly wound. Maybe go find a Sheep or
