auto shutdown

I keep getting the "this program has performed an illegal operation and will
shutdown" I would appreciate any input to solve this problem.

What program?
Anything in your event log?
What antivirus application do you utilize?
What antispyware applications have you ran?

Any and all programs,nothing in log event, Mcaffe(?) havent ran any anti
spyware

I also keep getting a security alert that says, information you exchange with
this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem
with the sites security certificate. The security certificate is from a
trusted certifacte authority. The security certificate has expired or is not
yet valid. The security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the
page you are trying to view,want to proceed?After I proceed another security
alert comes up that says,you are about to be redirected to a connection that
is not secure the information you are sending to the current site might be
retransmitted to a nonsecure site, wish to continue?
