Hi
Can anyone tell me if auto updates are supplied by proxy from servers at
level3.com using footprint. I decided to do a netstat command and found a
connection to 207.123.34.126 that only hung around for about 1 minute just
after booting. I was intrigued to find that the pid of the program connecting
was windows onecare. On another vista computer I have a simular thing
happened but to a slightly different ip address but still in level3.com
range. This time it seemed it was not onecare pid. Both my systems are
running ultimate and both are up to date and both pass onecare scans. The
firewall reports nothing unusual. The port at the other end is port 80 i.e.
http.
