Do you think that fact that the WMV file entered your system /after/ you'd
installed the updates and rebooted may have something to do with it (i.e.,
hijackware embedded in the WMV file attachment)?
In any event, does uninstalling whatever updates were installed by Automatic
Updates on or after 08 July resolve the behavior?
