Auto updates with computer off????

Hi,
If you have Windows auto updates set for 2am and you never leave your
computer on at night will you the get the updates? If so, when?

When you turn the computer on the updates will be brought down to your
computer. It may take an hour or so for Windows Update to initiate the
check.

I have installed Vista over a hundred times. It is always during the
daytime. Yet upon reaching the desktop the updates are downloaded, whatever
the time of day may be - even though the default update time is set for 3:00
am.

Change the time: Control Panel-Windows Updates-Change settings. To whatever
time and frequency you like.
