Hello...
Machine is set to auto download updates but ask me to install. Where on the
computer are these dwnlds stored ? Where do I go to see the listing, and can
it be cleared/deleted ? Case in point, this a.m. downloaded Tuesday's
updates from site, they installed, restarted and they are listed in history
as OK. Now the icon in the task bar says it's downloading updates. Am I
wrong in thinking that all those mb's are just taking up space on my drive ?
Does anyone know where they hide ?
Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.

C:\Windows > Software Distribution > Downloads

the folders have random names- the installers and identification of
the individual KBs are inside these folders.

But don't mess unless you know what you are doing. By todays standards
these files take up a miniscule amount of space.

Thanks, Jonah.
Could not remember where to look or if that folder had the auto downloads.
The log file there told me that it had not redownloaded on auto all those I
had manually just installed from the update site. Sure would be nice if a
R-click on the tray icon would give you a list of what's "downloaded and
ready to install"......
Thanks again.
