Autocad

Because I have Vista home edition on my PC, I HAD to buy Autocad 2008! The
rest didn't work. After several problems that I solved myself, I have (again)
a problem and it looks as if its not only a problem with autocad.

I always export from autocad 3D my drawings to 3ds (3d studio max) for
rendering in Artlantis render 4.5. Sinds a couple of days this dousn't work
anymore. Al seems to work untill I open the drawing in Artlanitis and then it
says, this is no 3ds file??? I have chequed it on my older computer with no
Vista but all the rest is the same and it works on this one???!!!?? Please
help my, I need this for my profession!

i would try to repair the autocad installation. Use AutoCAD's install ->
Repair option

See if an OLD 3ds file will open... ?
