How do I automatically back up my work onto a second hard drive?

I have two hard drives installed in my machine. The old (smaller) drive was
Windows ME and eventually wound up with a pirated home page on Internet
Explorer that simply could not be deleted, erased, deselected, whatever. So
I purchased a second, much larger hard drive, loaded Windows 2000 (a so much
better OS then ME), and dragged over all my old files. Worked fine, but now
I am lazy and don't want to always have to duplicate/drag my folders to the
old drive as a back-up. I would rather have it done automatically every time
I save a file. How?

"paulherrlett",

This is not really a Windows Update question, though I do see why you might
have picked this newsgroup. To automatically backup the work you have done
every day, you are looking at what is called an "incremental" backup. There
is a great deal of literature on this subject, and many products out there.

I suggest opening the following website: http://www.msn.com, and typing in
the search window: "backup software" <--please do go ahead and use the
quotes.

Let us know if you find a really great product by replying to this thread!

Sincerely,
