When last accessing my email accounts with Windows Mail, three message
were retrieved from my gmail account. Two went to my inbox, however, on
message was sent to a new folder which appeared stating 'SPAM' - thi
folder and the message then disappeared without me being able to verif
its content! The 'SPAM' folder was not my Windows Junk Mail folder or m
Mcafee Spam folder - the message did not go to either of them. I can'
seem to find any way of retrieving this message from any of th
programmes connected with Mail. *Is this normal? I thought that an
spam would go to one of the boxes mentioned above so I could verify it
contents before deleting myself*. I have to say that it was probabl
spam as there was one on my gmail account when I double checked - it wa
an email full of chinese writting which was totally unsolicited.

Regards

Pete

Uninstall or disable McAfee AntiSpam. While you're at it, also disable the
email scanning component. Windows Mail doesn't play nice with either of
them.

Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your email
