Automatic startup/shutdown

Does anyone know a way to have the computer automatic startup and shutdown at
preset times?

I want to use my windows vista media center as a videorecorder. For example
when I go travelling. Or even handy for everyday recording.

Anyone ideas?

Not if its shut down, that requires someone to press the power Btn

Some motherboard BIOS's have such features.

Found out that if the computer is on sleep, it can wake up automatically.
after recording, after some time of inactivity, it can turn back to sleep by
itself. very handy!
