Automatic Sync stopped

hello all,

On my PC, I'm using Windows Mobile Device Center on Windows Vista Ultimate
SPA 64bits.
On my HTC smartphone, I'm using WIndows Mobile 6.
My PC used to sync automatically to the usb connected smartphone just after
Windows startup.
Now, I need to start the program Windows Mobile Device Center for it to
sync.
How can I get it back to sync automatically?

I fixed the problem by uninstalling Windows Mobile Device Center and re
installing it.
However, was there something better to fix this annoyance?
