Automatic Update causes PC to blue screen on bootup every time

My computer bluescreens (Internal_Power_Error) or
Internal_Power_somethingOrOther . Then when it reboots again or I reboot it,
it will do this forever. I realized that if I disconnect my Microsoft
Bluetooth adapter (it came with the latest Bluetooth keyboard and mouse from
Microsoft) that it will boot up fine. Once it gets into windows I am able to
plug back in the Bluetooth dongle so that my keyboard and mouse work and am
able to type in my password. I just formatted and reinstalled my pc a few
days ago because of this blue screen issue as well as a bunch of problems
Norton 2009 AV was giving me. Oddly enough the Internal Power bluescreen
disappeared with the new install of Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition. Last
night windows update installed nearly 20 updates and now the problem is back!
So obviously this problem is being caused by one on the updates that were
installed last night. None of these updates were for the OS directly but
rather for MS products I had installed. They were for Office 2007 and Visual
Studio 2008 and 2 for expression web and expression media. Here is a link to
a picture of all the specific updates the computer installed last night:

That pretty much sums it up. I didn’t do anything else to the computer of
significance (like install software) between the last proper boot and the
bluescreen problem showing up other than automatic updates installing the
updates shown in the image linked above.

If you formatted and reinstalled Vista x64 "a few days ago," Windows Update
should have offered you many Vista-specific updates, not just other MS
applications (e.g., Office; Windows Live).

If Automatic Updates is configured to the automatic setting (cf.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...ws-update.aspx),
your problem may have been caused by a driver update that was installed
automatically. In such cases, you just need to do a driver rollback.

I'm sorry I forgot to state that I installed Service pack one after the
format and then installed more updates and THEN Windows update automatically
downloaded and installed more updates without notifying me before installing
(although I have the WU settings set to download but ask me when to install).
Please look at the image linked in my original post it shows all updates and
one of them is the culprit. I got the bluescreen on bootup when the M$
bluetooth dongle is present, didnt think much of it, but then i format and
the problem goes away. Then windows update automatically installs updates
and the problem returns. These updates as I mentioned and as the image shows
are not really windows updates but Windows update installed them. They are
service packs and other updates for M$ products like visual studio and visual
web developer. No Drivers (especially for the BT dongle) were installed.

I have nothing further to contribute here, especially since you've snipped
your original post in your last reply.

But I will add that I would not have recommended installing SP1 or any other
updates manually unless and until they were offered by Windows Update.

Good luck.

Excuse me bitch, didnt know it was that time of the month for you. And
Service pack 1 is offered via your **** update system however i chose to save
some bandwidth and time and use the copy i have already downloaded. The
reason you have nothing to contribute is because your an idiot and dont know
what your doing. No wonder M$ has you relagated to posting on this forum
where you help only the truely stupid. I am sure your job will be lost in
the next round of cuts.
