Reinstalling Win2K SP4 didn't help with what, Automatic Updates? Are you
still getting the OLEAUT32.DLL errors? Can you still not
download/install/use Ad-aware SE v1.06?
Is Win2K SP4 Rollup 1 installed yet? If not, it can be installed manually
via
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
(32MB). (It should install a current version of OLEAUT32.DLL. Your current
situation may have been caused by an incompatible version of Goldmine.)

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(

It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
