I would think that your automatic update version is the
same as the Windows Update version. To see click on
start go to the Windows Update and click. Your web
browser will open, and if you are connected, will open
the windows update web page. Look in the address bar.
The first two items after http:// will be a "v" followed
by a number. The number is the version. I looked in the
control panel and then Automatic Updates, but could not
find a version number for that application.

For the record, I just noticed that I could see the version number for AU on
the Internet Applications list of my McAfee firewall, as well.
