automatic updater greyed out

when i try to change the settings for automatic update all options are greyed
out i did try what they said in the other post but it didnt work either so i
went to kellys corner. what i want to know is when i click on windows update
restore am i supposed run or save and if i save where do i save it to. Any
help would be greatly appreciated
