Cause the Automatic Update service isn't running/disabled.

Reenable the Automatic Update service with start type "Automatic"
(Start -> Run -> services.msc [Enter]).

Hi

I have a xp pro laptop and want to enable Automatic Updates. If i
right-click My computer > Properties and go to the automatic updates tab all
the options is greyed out and i can't click on any of them. Why is this
happening and how do i rectify this? Please.

Hi Freudi

Thanks for your response. The Automatic Update service is runing. I did
restart the service also but to no avail.
