After trying many of the fixes suggested I can now after applying the list of
regsvr32 commands start up the Automatic Updates and log on to Winows Update
succesfully. Howver after one reboot the Autmatic Updates is flagged as
disabled with a delete flag and after two reboots it is gone from the
Services list. I have been looking for a delete flag in the Registry but can
not find it.
I saw one post about a trojab in the service Net Client but I do not have
such a service. Where does the delete flag come from?
