automatically download media information

When I rip a CD wmp does not automatically download the media information. I
can't find where to enable this.

Did you ever figure this out? All of a sudden I'm having the same problem!

What version of WMP and Windows? What happens if you right-click a track
and select Find Album Info, to manually retrieve the media information?

In WMP's Options, make sure that "Display media information from the
Internet" and "Update music files by retrieving media info from the
Internet" (Privacy) are both checked, and "Retrieve additional
information from the Internet" (Library) is checked as well.
