Automatically updating hosts file

Our Installshield exe installs fine on our XP boxes, but I can't get it to
update the host file on the Vista machine. I know you need to open notepad
as admin and then it's modifiable, but i need to do it automatically. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Run the application elevated?
