Hallo Gudmund,

you find the settings here: start---control panel---hardware and sound. Look
for something which looks like autoplay or so, I don't know the exact terms
in the english version of Vista.

When I right click on my DVD-rw drive and choose Properties I don't see
anything about Autoplay. Is that an error? If so, how do I resolve it?
Thank you.

Click Start > type AutoPlay

Click in the appropriate list boxes so that when you insert a DVD the right
settings occur.

Hi,

I'm running Vista Home Premium. I properly set Autoplay defaults, yet
neither CDs nor DVDs autoplay. I have to start them manually. Any idea
what I can do to correct this?

Thanks.

Same issue here.

Autoplay works fine for USB but neither CD?DVD autoplayes.

I have reset the setting in control panel > autoplay... no luck.
