Hi, Last ngiht when I rebooted our laptop - (XP Pro system) - it said
that Windows has downloaded 1 update which needed installing, and
appeared to normally at shutdown.

This morning the system booted up very slowly the first time and got as
far as the login page but before we could select a user ti bluescreened
with some ewrror that was too qwuck to read and then rebooted. It
follows the same cycle over and over again.

Is there a way to interrupt the start up and backout the so called
'fix'? Any help appreciated - not an expert so simple instructions if
anyone can help please.
Thanks
Mike

I'm facing the same issue. After automatic update was deployed, my system
booted well, however after login, I see a blank desktop.

Explorer is not working, even if I use task manager to run explorer.exe.

Any immediate help would be greatly appreciated.
