avg update and sp1

Hi all,
I can't connect to the AVG update server since installing SP1. Any
suggestions appreciated! Running version 7.5, maybe upgrading to 8
might help?

I am running it with no difficulty. I can't imagine SP1 would be the
direct cause if the only problem is access to the Internet.

Just as a wild guess, have you checked Defender to make sure AVG is
not barred?

I did not know there was a v8. I'll have a look at their website.

Don't know what is the exact problem with your system, but SP1 and AVG
Internet Security Suite version 8.0 works just fine on my Vista
Business and Vista Home Premium systems.
