I need to switch often the Windows Vista font size, thus being forced to
reboot everytime.

Is there a particular reason why Microsoft planned to reboot on changed font
size? Is there a way to avoid reboot on changed font size?

Thanks

You mean the DPI settings, in that case it tells you to reboot, but not when
you are simply changing the font sizes..

font sizes can be changed on-the-fly
and I have posted about a program that adjusts them all together to get a
better result.

its called displayset, it was originally freeware, now you have to pay for a
subscruiption on pc magazine if you want to have access to it.

There are some blogs that point to it since it was indeed a freeware.. I
have posted about this again here, you can read what I explained here:

If you have a scroll wheel mouse try this:
Hold down the "Ctrl" key and rotate the scroll wheel and it will increase/
decrease the font size, this will work on the desktop and in most programs.

Not on the desktop and not all the apps.
