Thank you all for your replies.
I used the link supplied by Jaime and it reports Verizon.net, my ISP, as domain owner and I reside in NY. Thats good to know, I was beginning to think I was in 2 places at once!  Verizon is my first and only ISP. I have never resided in Canada, nor have I ever emailed anyone in Canada; as for as I know. All of this could also be the reason why I never get media downloads for Media Center. Does Verizon provide you a permanent IP address or do they use DHCP to
provide one to you? Hello Curious,
Unfortunately, you are now talking Greek. I have no idea what DHCP is or whether I have a permanent IP or not. However, from time to time I have used the speed tester in dslreports which has also maintains an ongoing record of my speeds as well as my IPs. Although the IP addresses vary somewhat, after testing the IPs for the last 6 months in Who Is, I learned they all show my accurate location: NY. I hope this answers at least part of your question. Good evening,
At last I am back in America. I took the chance and started everything in Services that had to do with Media Center. When I returned to the Media Center I had access to Internet TV (beta).
