Back ground!!

One web page has got stuck as the back ground and I cannot get it off. I
tried to run the antivirus and it wont allow me to run it. I tried to down
load the updates and the error message [Error number: 0x80070424]
Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested

Hi joshua,

For the updates error message, give this a try and see if it solves the
problem.............

Go to Start>Run and key in:
regsvr32 wuaueng.dll
Click on OK or hit ENTER, wait a few seconds, then click on OK in the
RegSvr32 dialogue box.

Now, open the registry editor (Start>Run key in regedit then click on OK or
hit ENTER)
Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Curr*entControlSet\Servi ces\wuauser*v
Look for a DeleteFlag value and, if it exists, right-click on it and select
delete.

Now see if if you can successfully update.

For the background problem, that may be indicative of malware on your
computer. Here is a good place to start for troubleshooting that problem:
