Backgrounds not being saved

For a few releases now, when changing the default background, the setting is
not saved between logoff or restarts of messenger. The option to not remeber
settings is not checked either!

Greetings,

Is it just the backgrounds? or other things like adding new emoticons and the like too?

No, just conversation backgrounds. Everytime I logon, it resets to it's
default (not the default I choose)
