Backup blob!

Aside from the fact that I hate, loathe and otherwise despise Vista ---
I activated this automatic backup thingy --- which I figured would be a good
thing. However --- did you ever see the movie "The Blob?" Well this backup
thingy is like the blob --- the more it eats the bigger it gets and it seems
to be taking over all the drive space on my computer. I keep getting
messages telling me I'm short on disk space. I know its the backup, because
after it backed-up the first time, I saw a huge decrease in available disk
space. HELP! How can I get rid of the blob and restore some space? ---
without having to freeze it and airlift it to Antacrtica?

Awww, I just recorded the blob a week ago, with Media Center, and I haven't
watched it yet, and you gave away the ending :-(
Speaking of Antarctica, I heard that the most ice cover ever recorded in the
history of Antarctica was this year, funny how that never gets reported.
