Backup of a recovery partition

Hi all,
i use Vista Ultimate on a pre-installed OEM system .
The recovery files are on D:\
I would like to make a backup of these recovery files on a set DVD's but the
recovery map is not visible
How can i change the settings to make it visible and to be able to back it
up on DVD and how to reset the original settings thereafter so that it can
be used as a recovery partition again in case i need it

Most OEM computers have a procedure to create a set of recovery media on CD
or DVD. Check your manual or with their customer support for the procedure.
If they don't provide this ability then you'll need a third party program
like Acronis True Image to do this.
