Backup in Vista - Additional Files?

I want to know what files the 'Additional Files" category backs up.
ie - does it back up files in C:\ folder ?
If I store files in a directory other than my documents, will the backup
software find and save these?
(I do know that the backup will backup all id's.)
I suppose that I could just try it, but does anyone know for sure.
