We've got Photoshop V7, and then the update, v7.01 installed on over 10
Vista Ultimate x32 & x64 and working without any problems whatsoever.
What error message, if any, are you getting?

Following works for some:

Bring up a Command Prompt, set Administrative prilivges, then type
following exactly as shown.

regsvr32 JScript.DLL

You might get some error message, just click through and keep your
fingers crossed.

I'm running version 7 here, on VHPremium fine.

Just make sure you install it as admin. (Right click on setup.exe and choose
run as admin).
