Is there a way to find what files are causing the system to run only in safe
mode. I think the problem is either a vider card driver. Or something to do
with activex. The system is stable only in safe mode. Also does vista have
the ability to repair the problem. Other then using a "reinstall" method.
Which did not work. in any manner My reason for saying the problem might be
activex. Is due to using a program that has the ability to check for this
type of error and repair it. However, the program is beta.

Oh dear, you used Beta software to repair things that are critical...
and it looks like it didn't.

You could try a system restore, sometimes works often does not

Video card drivers can easily make a system very instable, and often can
cause the wrong errors to be reported which by itself is a minor
problem but when you are not sure what is going on in other areas
becomes a possible re-install scenario. I would try getting to control
panel and removing the current video driver, it may mess up your screen
settings but may get you out of the safe mode trap. Try and make sure
you can download the most recent driver from the card maker's website
first and save it somewhere easy to find.

Reboot after removing the old driver and if you can get to it turn off
antivirus software or anything like spybot that can lock registry
settings. Reboot again and install new driver.

Please wait for other suggestions before doing this to get a better
picture of what the causes might be, that's the idea of newsgroups just
in case I am wrong.

Get yourself a copy of Acronis and make disk backups before trying beta
software in future.
