Hi All

I have searched hi and lo for some reference to this error I receive when
trying to get to certain sites. One of the biggest problems is when I try to
get to msnbc.msn.com. I have seen it on several ecommerce sites such as
newegg.com, etc. I seem to get this when attempting to get to sites that use
asp, though I am not certain of that. If I had better debug skills I could
maybe track that down.

I have a small home network, with 1 computer on Vista, the rest (4) are
Windows XP. The only pc with he problem is the Vista one, that is a dual boot
and if I boot to XP I can get to all sites with no problem. I had my work PC
home and was getting constant Bad Request Errors on the Vista PC and tried
the same sites with the work laptop (Windows XP Pro) and had no problem, I
also tried the sites with another XP machine I use for a PC DVR, again no
problem. This seems to eliminate my internet connection and router (cable
modem and Buffalo WG54 router). All the machines are on an ethernet LAN so
there are no wireless problems.

I tried to update all my .NET programs, I have all updates installed. I
guess since I cannot find any references to this on Google Search's other
than references to sever updates it must be something corrupted in my PC. I
am just not sure where to look and what to change

Thanks in advance for any light someone can shed on this problem, it is
getting frustrating to say the least.

Kevin

Summary of what I have tried

In Vista, can you access other computers on the network, recieve email, IMs,
etc?
In IE7, Tools>Internet Options>Advanced, click Reset in the bottom section.
Close all IE windows.
Restart IE
If that doesn't work, post back.
