If you think that's actually Ballmer's PC, you don't go to conferences much.

What's so funny about it... really? As has been well documented and
talked about ad nauseam, a Macbook Pro ran Vista faster than any other
laptop PCWorld tested.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,13...s/article.html

So, maybe the Mac in the pic was running Vista. Got any proof that it
wasn't?

It's not like it's Steve Jobs using a PC running Vista at a
conference... now THAT woud be funny.

Yes it is, you know what else is funny?

MS is packaging Vista bundled with OneCare in Japan, and the packaging
makes it look like a package of maxi pads instead of software! I mean,
come on, pink package with pink flowers on it?! LOL

None at all, but funny none the less.

But lets say it is a Mac running Vista, and runs it faster. Does that
mean Microsoft developers of Vista bought Macs during Vista coding? Not
good either, because they probably dual boot and didn't run Vista
themselves off hours.

I somehow don't think he would hake that mistake unless to show the
audience some Vista short comings.

on the podium.
