Since I upgraded to IE7 I can no longer download bank transactions to
Quicken. How can I tell Miscrosoft about this.

You need to apply the fix to make the site think you have ver 6.

Ooops, spoke too soon. Still won't download transactions. Guess I''d better
call the bank. I'm sure MS isn't going to help.

Try holding down the control key when you hit the download button and see if
that won't work. Something is blocking my bank site but this works. Other
sites seem to work OK, so I am not sure what is keeping the bank site from
working.

Being as I live and work in one of the worlds top offshore banking tax
havens I can tell you that its more likely the bank not allowing IE7 than
an actual IE7 problem. Some do but most do not yet (here anyway).

In my not infrequent dealings with finance industry network guys I can tell
you they fall about laughing at the mention of allowing IE7 on their
internal workstations let alone allowing customers to use it to access
their systems, it will need about a year before they know enough to trust
it. However I am on the other side of the pond to you and then some so I
don't really know what the situation is there but I would ask your bank
before having a go at MSFT.

Another tip for you none of these guys I work with, all highly paid IT pros
in the financial industry, would ever consider using a standard home PC
browser / net connection to access their bank accounts for any reason, they
only use internal bank terminals.

I won't either, I can take a hint.

Jonah
