Bard's tale to run in vista

Did anyone figure on how to run Bard's tale (2005 ver.) in vista
It states that I need media player #9. I installed Media player #9 an
still no Luck
There are no patches that I know of. Even installing from a folder o
the hard drive in XP, Win 98 or 95 Compatability help

Is there an error message?
What kind of computer are you running? (Make? Model? Specs?)

Hp duel core AMD+2 4500
it says I need windows media # 9 . I have Windows Media player 11
What is VMWare And how can I use it to run Bard's tale

are you running vista 64 or 32bit? I noticed you also posted in the vistax64
forum so I wanted to make sure.

Hope this helps someone because I registered this site just for that.
all you need to do is to enter your DVD when the install file is (right click on DVD-ROM and choose Open)
then right click on Setup.exe > choose Properties > go to Competability tab > select "Run this mode in competability mode of:" and then choose Windows XP

that's it. now use this file to run the installation process
