I am logging in with my admin account but when I try to use bcedit I get the
access denied error message. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks!

Hi Ron,

Bcdedit requires elevated privilege, and simply logging on to an admin
account is insufficient. This is by design (not dissimilar at all from
Linux's root privileges). Click start and type CMD, right click the start
menu entry that appears and choose 'run as administrator' to get the proper
level of privileges to run bcdedit.

Hi,

Needs elevated mode - launch cmd as a Administrator - right mouse button,
and then bcdedit.

Right click on the command prompt option and select 'run as administrator'

Forget BCEdit. It's a nightmare to use. Go to

http://www.vistabootpro.org/

and download VistaBootPro. Everything you need in an easy to use
format.
