Beeping sound with administration login

When i enter my password in the administration login there is a lou
beep when i enter to confirm?

I am new to Vista so just wondering can i log in without th
administration login like in XP

First, give a little more information about your setup.

Is this a new computer that had Vista preinstalled?
If you only have one user account *how long* have you been
operating this computer using only that one account?
How many people beside your self will be using this computer?
Please tell us which version of windows Vista you have and
is it Sp1 or not?

Your verbiage indicates to me you have setup other accounts on your
computer.
I am not talking about the loud beep you hear. But have you always
had a loud beep
when logging in?

You should be using a standard user account for your normal day
to day computing activities.
