Beeps on connect when not supposed to

I have ActiveSync 3.7.1 (the highest version my company allows me to
install). When I dock or undock my IPAQ it beeps loudly. I've gone
into Control Panel Sounds and Audio Devices Properties and set the
sound scheme to No Sounds, it should stop the beep. It still beeps.
The two items for Microsoft ActiveSync, Connect Confirm and Disconnect
Confirm are set to "(None)". But it still beeps. Any suggestions? I'm
running Win XP Pro on my laptop and Win CE 2003 on the IPAQ.
