I did the run...cmd/// then ping google.com this is what it said..now what?

now, I see you can ping Google. Congratulations. However, I also see you
publically advertised your IP address.

I think Cricket2624 decided to turn to Compaq support for
help with the problem - not really a Windows Update issue.
Foolish postings can be prevented by filtering - the server
does seem to be refusing a few postings. This group needs
more MVP participation - I hope you have no problems.
