The honest truth is, if its not supported by the manufacturer, its just not
gonna work. I had an IBM IdeaScan 2000 that came with my IBM aptiva (Windows
98), there were work arounds to get it working under Windows 2000 and XP,
but man it was a head ache.
So, it would be best to just invest in a new compatible scanner that
supports Windows Vista.
