Hello to all. Does anyone have any suggestions on which program works the
best with Vista Home Premium to burn DVDs and CDs? My old Nero is not
compatible.
Thanks in advance
J.

There is a Windows DVD maker built in to Vista - I have already used it
with my 2 week old computer and it worked great.

If you are just going to do some simple mastering and drag and drop of files
to data disks, you don't really need anything beyond Vista's built-in
capability. However, if you have specific needs for menu creation and other
options that only these third party apps have, everyone is going to have
their favorite. You already have Nero and you are familiar with it and both
Nero and Roxio's software have their own idiosyncrasies which make them
about equal in how well they work with Vista. My opinion, stick with what
you know and like, stick with what's familiar because both work about
equally well with Vista.

Hey

Nero 7 came with my unit.
But I cannot get it to burn a Cd yet.

Somebody suggested something called Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.
I saw it way back in this thread - I have now idea how to get it.
but it sucks - It's like having to buy a new engine for your new car.

Thanks

The newest versions of Nero and Roxio Easy Media Creator work equally
well.

Hey Mike

I haven't been able to burn ONE single CD or DVD yet.

I do lots of pictures and am glad I still have an XP handy.

Somebody suggested - Ashampoo burning Studio 6 - way back in this thread.

Thanks
